STEP 2
Selecting a suitable band for your event
Scroll through our bands and click on their links to listen to demos, read bios, view song lists and photos. Some of our bands even have videos on these links. All bands are listed by band code numbers.
STEP 3
Get a quote
Make a note of at least two bands that you like the look of (using their band code numbers), and then click on the get a quote tab and follow the prompts and fill out the form. This will send us all the information we require to provide you with an accurate quote. We will reply with prices and availability on each band via email or phone usually within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). Be sure to check your spam and junk folders as sometimes our quotes can end up there. If you don't receive the quote at all from us, please call our office on 07 3299 6061 incase there was an error.
STEP 4
Booking the band
Once you have received your quote and are happy to proceed with one of your selected bands, simply use our book online form to send us your booking. Once the booking has been received this end we will then contact you via phone to process a deposit to secure the band.
STEP 5
Booking confirmations and invoices
Once we have processed the deposit to secure the band, we then write up a booking confirmation sheet for you and the band, that has contact details to each other and outlines remaining payment details. The bands name will also be written in the booking confirmation along with their band code number and ABN.
STEP 6
Talking directly with the band
You can now talk directly with the band to go over the finer details. The band will also contact you the week leading up to the event.

All bands charge different prices, to put it in the simplest terms, the bigger the band, the more expensive it will cost

Usually between $400 - $800
Duo - 2 person band
Usually between $600 - $1600
Band - 3 person band
Usually between $900 - $2400
Band - 4 person band
Usually between $1200 - $3200
Band - 5 person band
Usually between $1500 - $4000
Band - 6 person band
Usually between $1800 - $4800
Band - 7 person band
Usually between $2100 - $5600
Band - 8 person band
Usually between $2400 - $6400
Band - 9 person band
Usually between $2700 - $7200
Band - 10 person band
Usually between $3000 - $8000
Please note: Tribute bands are usually a little more and usually don't perform for 4 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Extra’s? - Are there any additional fees? Travel fees, accommodation and meals may apply if the event is outside the cities metro area.
Additional hours - All band quotes are based on a 4 hour booking. If you require longer than 4 hours and the band is capable of playing longer, this will be charged at 25% extra per hour.
Extra sound and lighting might incur additional costs for large audiences.
What do I receive for that?
Generally most live bands play 4 x 40-45 minutes of live music and supply breaks music in between sets.
This also includes the band supplying all sound and lighting equipment required for the event.
Larger audiences may require a bigger sound system.
What time does the band setup?
Generally bands are setup 30 minutes before the start time.
If the band feels that they need more time to setup, they will arrive earlier to do so.
If you require the band to be setup earlier than the standard 30 minutes, this will incur extra fees as you are paying for their time.
Am I able to talk directly with the band?
Yes, once you have chosen the band you would like to book we then ask you for a small deposit to secure the band. Once we have received the deposit, we then process all relevant paperwork for you and the band, which includes providing contact details to each other.
Can I use the bands microphone for speeches?
Most live bands allow you to use the microphones for speeches etc with prior notice.
How soon should I book?
As soon as you know who you would like to book for your event, book them right away.
Most bands are generally booked up 6 months in advance but they do have some spare dates available.
Generally most weddings book a year in advance to secure the band they really want.
We can check the bands availability upon your enquiry.
Why does your agency use "Band Code Numbers" instead of "Band Names"?
Unfortunately we found that our potential clients were using our directory as a free ride to find "Band Names" that they liked and approached the band directly to book them. Our bands are honest and were referring the client back to us where they could but sometimes the band did not always know where the referral came from. So to keep it fair for everyone, we decided to use “Band Code Numbers” instead of “Band Names”

When do I find out the bands name?
Once you have made the booking and have paid the deposit to secure the band, we then send you the relevant paperwork which includes the bands name and contact details.
